I like that the boys, girls and groups are separate entities but still competing against one another. I also like that the production value is significantly higher than Idol...granted this is sometimes a cheesy detriment...overall I just enjoy XF more. Obviously AI is similar, but I think X Factor went too far whereas Idol has a better balance. Plus, look at the talent Idol has produced and then compare it to X Factor.
