Blockbuster 'Bridesmaids' Boasts Hot Soundtrack, Featuring Blondie, Kate Nash, Britney Spears, Fiona Apple and More!
It's a perpetual game of CATCH UP for me - for music, and movies! I only just watched the Judd Apatow-produced/Paul Feig-directed Bridesmaids two weekends ago and I have to say it's one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. I absolutely LOVE Kristin Wiig and the rest of the cast, including Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Ellie Kemper and Melissa McCarthy, was absolutely fabulous as well. Irish actor/comedian Chris O'Dowd was charming and kind of cute as well, as Wiig's love interest. Solid movie. Solid cast. Solid laughs. I loved it!
As great as the movie was, the soundtrack isn't anything to shrug off either. Available now on Relativity Music Group, the original motion picture soundtrack features tracks from Wilson Phillips, Blondie, Fiona Apple, Kate Nash, Britney Spears and more! The soundtrack ALSO features a song by the lovely singer/songwriter/founding member of The Bird and The Bee, Inara George. Check out George's song, "It's Raining" below and download the soundtrack on iTunes HERE.
