Hot Video Alert: Madonna - Girl Gone Wild

Madonna Girl Gone Wild

Congratulations are in order for Madonna, who's latest single "Girl Gone Wild" becomes the 53 year old's 41st #1 on Billboard's Hot Dance Club Songs chart this week.  That's right folks, 41 #1 dance singles! INSANE!  Released on March 2nd as the second single off of Madonna's twelfth studio album, MDNA, "Girl Gone Wild" was produced by Italian DJ/producer Benny Benassi and written by Madonna, Jenson Vaughan and Benassi.  Released last month, MDNA went #1 in at least 18 countries, including the U.S. and the UK.  Now...here's hoping that the success this album (and all of it's singles) has seen so far will in the long-run (and short-run) overshadow the recent news reports talking about MDNA suffering the BIGGEST week over week album sales drop of all time.  Doubtful, but one can hope.

Now...onto more pressing matters...

Check out the oh so chic video clip, directed by famed fashion photographers Mert and Marcus, BELOW.  The video features Ukrainian dance crew Kazaky as well as international male models Brad Alphonso, Jon Kortajarena, Rob Evans, Sean O'Pry and Simon Nessman.  Shot in black and white, the video brings to mind some of her previous work, most notably "Vogue," "Justify My Love" and "Erotica," with a little bit of  that spastic "Hung Up" choreography thrown in for good measure.

The video for "Girl Gone Wild," which premiered on E! News March 20th, is filled with provocative images from beginning to end, all of which are certain to be seared onto my brain, specifically that sexy little routine featuring Kazaky flanking Madonna while dancing in heels.  Another image seared into my brain - that body. It's mind blowing how at 53 she still looks as good as she does.
