[Hot Video Alert] Kelly Rowland feat. Lil' Wayne - Ice

In case you guys missed it, Kelly Rowland (of Destiny's Child fame) released a new video today and it's a SCORCHER!  While part most of me prefers the David Guetta-fied Kelendria Rowland that brought us club BANGERS, such as "Commander" and "When Love Takes Over," there's another part of me that loves her when she's in her wheelhouse singin' some straight up R&B.  "Ice," released this past August, is definitely in Rowland's wheelhouse.

[Hot Video Alert] Kevin Rudolf - Don't Give Up

"Don't Give Up" is the latest offering from American rock-singer/songwriter/producer Kevin Rudolf.  Released April 17th, "Don't Give Up" was written by Rudolf and serves as the first single off his upcoming third album, due out this summer via Cash Money/Universal Republic Records.  If I'm being honest, I wasn't even sure Kevin Rudolf was still around, at least not as a solo act.  The last I heard from him was his 2008 hit single, "Let It Rock," featuring rapper Lil' Wayne.  That single turned out to be Rudolf's biggest hit to date, peaking at an impressive #5 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, not to mention #3 on the ARIA Singles Chart, and #5 in the UK.

Cassie Picks Up Right Where She Left Off with 'King Of Hearts'

It's official. I'm obsessed with Cassie's new single "King Of Hearts," which consequently means I'm obsessed with Cassie - all over again. It's been a minute.  I know, I know...I've been sitting on this one for a while now.  I've been reading about her new stuff over on MuuMuse and The Prophet Blog but only just recently sat down to listen to what she's been up to all of these years since the insanely infectious "Me & U."  While I realize Cassie has been releasing music intermittently since  her self titled debut album back in 2006, up until now, nothing she's put out has really connected with me.

For me, "King Of Hearts" is a natural progression for the 25 year old recording artist. I honestly think we should consider this song her official third song. Please disregard "Is It You," her contribution to the Step Up 2: The Streets soundtrack, or even "Official Girl"- her 2008 single featuring rapper Lil' Wayne, not to mention the slough of more urban-leaning promotional singles ("Must Be Love" feat. Diddy, "Let's Get Crazy" feat. Akon, "Make You A Believer" feat. Jadakiss and "Radio" feat. Fabolous).  Yessir, "King Of Hearts" sounds like exactly the kind of music you'd expect her to make as a follow up to the deliciously delectable "Me & U" and it's equally smashing follow up, "Long Way 2 Go."

Hot Video Alert: Mike Posner feat. Lil Wayne - Bow Chicka Wow Wow

Oh Mike Posner. What are you DOING to me? If you haven't seen the Shane Drake-directed video for Posner's latest single, "Bow Chicka Wow Wow" then I have to prepare you. Mike Posner's body is BANGIN'! Yeah, he's still a skinny white dude but he's bulked up considerably! Holy abs! Oh...and the song is aight too. The smooth Smeezingtons'-produced R&B track is the follow up to Posner's previous efforts, "Please Don't Go," which peaked at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100 and "Cooler Than Me," which peaked at #6. Both tracks come from Posner's debut album 31 Minutes To Takeoff (J Records) which came out last summer here in the States, debuting at #8 on the Billboard 200.

Released 2 weeks ago, Posner's new single has risen to #107 on Billboard's Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart. Hopefully with the release of the video last week, Posner will cross over into the Hot 100 and rise from there. The video is a fun, sexy romp that sees Posner and Lil Wayne trying their lady luck, wining and dining two pretty girls with some Nuvo sparkling liqueur and sweet talking. When that doesn't work, Posner just switches on a little "Bow Chicka Wow Wow" and - BOING! The ladies turn into sex fiends. Check out the dastardly duo by watching the video below and download the single on iTunes HERE. Never before has an afro looked so damn hot on a white man.

P.S. - Does anyone know what song is being sampled on this track? I know I recognize it but can't pin point where I know it from...

Mike Posner Unveils New Single Artwork

Ever since Mike Posner put up the new SINGLE version of "Bow Chicka Wow Wow" on YouTube this past Tuesday, I can't get it out of my mind! While I would have been fine if the album version was released as the single, the newly recorded Lil Wayne rap is a fine addition to an already ace single. Initially, in my album review, I was up in the air about "Bow Chicka Wow Wow," now...I'm completely sold.

Due out on February 8th, the Smeezingtons-produced "Bow Chicka Wow Wow" will be the third single off of Posner's debut 31 Minutes To Takeoff. Posner's break out single, "Cooler Than Me" peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at #5 on the Official UK Singles Chart. Posner's follow up, "Please Don't Go" was slightly less successful, only managing to peak at #16. "Please Don't Go" will be released as Posner's second single in the UK on March 13th with remixes from Boson and Kat Krazy. Look out for a music video featuring Posner and Lil Wayne coming soon.  Listen to the new single version of the single below.
